Lola's Home

Yesterday the vet called at 8am to say Lola was doing better, but still not eating. He said she could use another day there.

Jenn then called around 11 to get an update, and suggested that if we brought her normal food, maybe she may be more apt to eat. They encouraged a visit, so she took Porter and Jackson... and some string cheese.

In the video you can see she was pretty excited to them and loved the cheese. So they said she could come home.

Upon coming home she was perky, but pretty exhausted.

She's lied on the couch a lot. But, little by little she's more and more herself. She's not going to her food bowl yet, but she's eating anything we bring to her, and hovered at the fridge when I was getting food for the kids. She's still barking and running to visitors :)

The kids are happy she's home, but it's a little like, just-normal-ole Lola, "what's the big deal?" Thankfully they missed the darkest part, and don't have that 4am moment to compare her to.

She's happy to be home, and is clearly better than she was the last few days. We gave her her first medicine, which we'll be giving her everyday...
