Augustisms (the bar)
The kids have a gymnastics bar. There are rules about the bar. One rule is: You can't wear anything with buttons, because the metal buttons rub against the wood bar, and will wear it out.
August heard mom tell this to Porter (who wore some buttons). I then overheard August tell Copeland at the dinner table,
"Copeland, d'you know what person can never go on the bar?"
"What?"
"A ROBOT person. Because they are ALL metal!"
Copeland agreed, "Yeah. They have metal arms. Metal legs..."
"Metal head too!"
It went on. :)
