Welcome Daddy

Porter and Jackson have been very polite lately. The other day Jenn was leaving the house and Jackson said "I love you Mommy." He followed up with , "it's polite to say 'I love you' when someone leaves.... And 'miss you!'"

Porter has been very sweet too. He is almost overly polite at times, saying 'thank you daddy' for every little thing. What's cuter is that he doesn't know the difference between 'thank you' and 'your welcome', in meaning. So you may help him put his coat on and he'll say 'you're welcome daddy!' - You're welcome too Porter.

So Jackson and Porter have been working a lot with 'charts'. Porter has a no-paci and potty-chart. Jackson has a please-and-thankyou chart and a sleep-in-his-own-bed chart. These charts have boxes and little milestones. Like, if Porter goes potty in the potty he gets stickerbooks, or McDonalds or some corn (he likes corn). Jackson has transformers, candy, or going-on-go-carts on his charts. Tonight, after being told again to go back to bed...for the third time. Jackson said. "I have an idea. Dad, I have a chart for you." "What's that Jackson?" "A don't-scream-at-me chart" True Story.
